Youth & Academics
QCC's Youth & Academics Committee works to support our youth and improve their performance in our city schools, as well as promote lifelong learning opportunities in our community.

ARTZONE

A community outreach project designed to connect low income youth with arts programs.

During the first year of this program, 19 low-income youth attended workshops at Live Arts, McGuffey Arts Studio, and the Music Resource Center, as well as a live performance by James Brown.

Courage Fund

A fund of last resort for students from QCC Neighborhoods in need of financial help for extracurricular and enrichment activities.

Over 30 area youth have benefited from the Courage Fund.  In 2006, Four students were able to travel to Atlanta and New York with our award-winning CHS music programs, thanks to the Courage Fund.
